What type of race is this?  It’s a race for cars costing $559.95 or less. Things that are not included in the cost of the car  safety equipment roll cage, tires, seat, fuel cell, brakes etc.

How long is the race?  7 to 8 hours each day.  After Saturdays race you can work on the car, eat, sleep. Then get up and do it all over again Sunday.

What is the pit area like at Sandia Motorsport Park?  The rest rooms have showers, they have a Concession stand which is open for lunch. There are 30 RV sites with water and electric.
Call  505-352-8888 to reserve your spot. They go for $20.00 a night. For people not needing an RV  Spot. We will have assigned pit areas for all teams.

Do I have to have a competition license?   No, you have to have a valid state license and if you are under 18 Written notarized permission from your parents. Also you will need to get a Turkey license at registration for $20. Friday There will be a class/track orientation for all drivers who do not have a comp license and have never road raced.

Is this real racing?  Yes that is the reason for all of the safety equipment.  To give you an idea it will be like driving on the freeway during rush hour with no speed limit .

Is it safe? We try to make it as safe as racing can be but this is racing. There is a reason why we have an Ambulance on site. We really want everyone to come out and have fun and have a safe trip home.

What makes a team?  4 to 6 drivers with one as Team Captain. All drivers need to drive in the race; how long and how often is up to your Captain. Costs are covered in rules. Who pays for what is up to your Captain.
